Stumbling through world-famous favelas while soaking in the glory that is annual Rio Carnivale circa 2015
Explored the sights and sounds of Delhi, Mumbai, Agra and Goa coasts during the 2012 Carnivale season in India (Goa was once Portugal's colony thereby extending that colourful tradition!)
The more authentic views at streets of Phuket, diving in Koh Samui, elephant trekking in Koh Samui, boating around Koh Phi Phi, hiking in Railay, and all around just a lot of sunbathing in one of the most beautiful bits of Asia.
Winter escape to Africa embracing the sounds and tastes of Morocco's artistic living in medieval Fez and buzzling Marrakech.

Om's and nom's on the island of the Gods in Uluuwatu, Ubud, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Kuta. Forever my favourite island on the planet
Created my one thousand and one night stories in the deserts of Doha, peeking across the ocean to catch a glimpse of Saudi Arabian coastline.
Navigating the world's "Middle Kingdom" running on the steps of the Great Wall, drifting through imperial might in Beijing, getting bedazzled through the Shanghai lights, tipping over cows on the plains of Inner Mongolia, paying tribute to the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an, dancing and tumbling with the Shaolin monks in Zhengzhou, lake-trolling around Hangzhou, catching a seabreeze in Sanya, climbing the sacred mountains like Tai'shan and Song'shan. This. Is. China.
Visited Myanmar Oct 2012 (just months after it was opened to outside world). Scavenged through original 11th century temples in Bagan, after meeting Aung San Suu Kyi in Yangon on her night of arrival after her first overseas trip since being put on house arrest. Totally in awe with the humility around from Mandalay to Yangon showcased by the ever-friendly Burmese.
Some of my favourite islands in the world - free-diving with whalesharkes in Donsol, being awed at monkeys and chocolate hills in Bohol, admiring the perfectly symmetrical volcanoes in Legazpi, surfing in Siargao, snorkelling in Palawan, food-hunting in Cebu and Manila. The islands that beat all islands.
Culture, arts and matcha in the ever-refined capital of Kyoto
A very warm Christmas/NYE basking in seafood and koalas around Manly Beach, Bondi, and the infamous "Harbour"
Soaked in the spirit on Halong Bay river cruises, within Hanoi heritage, and amongst Ho Chi Minh sounds
God save the queen - eating through London, reading in Stratford-Upon-Avon, bathing in Bath, myth-busting the Stonehenges in Wiltshire, sipping high-tea at Oxford
Awakened by that Angkor Wat Sunrise and walked through history chapters volunteering in Siem Reap.
